The name LAMPU, by Indonesian translated, means light.

Just in Indonesia, in winter period, from 16:00 until 02:00 and never overdriven, there is a big, fat and puffy showers stuffed with spectacular pyrotechnic performance of lightnings and thunders, these phenomena have inspired and gave shape to thisdesign.

We were putting into production the THEO

CHAIR and, coincidentally, while taking measures on the last prototype, towards the horizon crashed to the ground a lightning with a twisted form.

Going back to watch the Theo, the new model was already on my mind, and a few sketches later, there he is: a hybrid between the traditional style, called the "art of weaving," and contemporary design given by the form;

it is called LAMPU.
